Bear Hunting
Our Bear Management Area near Ignace starts at our front gates and extend for over 30 miles linking the three resorts.
The spring hunt has opened again but we are only doing the fall hunt. It is not uncommon to see one or two bears on the drive between resorts.
Our price of $975.00 U.S. (plus tax) includes your lodging, bear tag, a pre-baited active site, and bait. You will still need to purchase an Ontario hunting license (before arriving) for $240.81 (Canadian funds) and a Hunting Outdoors Card for $9.68 if you don't already have one.
when you get your bear you’ll also need to purchase an export permit, $35.00. Then remember if you also want to go fishing you'll need to also purchase a fishing license (www.ontario.ca/page/fishing) . The Ministry has changed up how licensing will be done. There will be only a few stores that will be selling fishing & hunting licenses. You will need to call the Outdoors Card number (800-387-7011) to find out who will be selling them in the area you will be traveling through or to.
