Raven Lake Lodge, Sowden Lake Resort, Selwyn Lake Outfitters, Endys/Bush Lake Resort and Paint Lake Accommodations.
Sowden Lake Resort . We currently have five new units. There are 2 three bedroom cabins that will sleep 5 each, a new deluxe cabin that will accommodate up to 11 people in extremely comfortable surroundings plus one brand new two bedroom unit that will sleep 8 and another 3 bedroom unit that will sleep 10. This resort runs on a generator 24 hours a day, We do provide outlets in the cabins , but you'll still need to bring your own generator to energize the outlets or charge your boat batteries or anything else you need charged. Be aware that your personal generator can not be run in the evening after 10:00 for the courtesy of the other customers.
All cabins at all locations are fully equipped housekeeping units with spring fresh hot & cold running well water and indoor plumbing with surround tubs and showers. All new appliances, cookware and accessories are included in each cabin. Kitchen towels are supplied at all resorts. You'll need to bring your own sleeping bags or bedding at Raven, Sowden, Selwyn Endys/Bush and Paint . Please bring bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, life jackets, charcoal and lighter fluid for the grills.
WHAT TO BRING
For all resorts you will also need to bring your personal effects, bath towels, food, life jackets, bait, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and anything else you will need for your weeks stay. We do have charcoal grills for your use just remember to bring charcoal and lighter fluid. All single sized beds come with a fitted sheet and a pillow with a pillow case so you’ll have to bring either sheets, blankets or sleeping bags.
Selwyn Lake Outfitters is our newest resort being purchased in December of 2010. We have done a lot of clean up, drilled two wells, put in a new generator and built five new cabins. Two sleep 10 each, one sleeps 8 another sleeps 7 and the last one sleeps 6. We also built a new house for us to stay in. The five new cabins have indoor plumbing like Sowden. We do have outlets in the livingroom and kitchen which can only be energized if you bring along a small generator. We have a cord outside that can plug into your generator and will run the outlets in the cabin so if you want to bring along electric appliances, tv, etc. you can now do so.
Endys/Bush Lake has 8 fully equipped housekeeping cabins. Unit 1 sleeps 4, Unit 2 sleeps 2 with a pull out couch, Unit 3 sleeps 10, Unit 4 and 5 sleep 6 each, Unit 6 and 7 sleeps 10 each and unit 8 sleeps 6 with a pull out couch. There is safe, tested well water. All cabins have indoor plumbing with hot and cold running water.
Paint Lake Resort has two duplex units. All four units sleep eight on each side. Paint also has fresh tested well water. Paint is run off a generator so there are no outlets in the cabins. You have lights 24/7, full size gas stoves, full sized propane refrigerators and space heaters. There is also a sauna for your use and a fish cleaning house.
Paint Lake is a deep lake having walleye, northern and pink lake trout.
Raven Lake is our first resort bought in 2000. There is one main unit that has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 8. There is a 3-plex that has 2 bedrooms in each unit and sleeps 6 people in each unit. It is located less than 1/4 mile right off of highway 17. There is power going to Raven so each unit has electric coffee pots, toasters, microwaves etc. Raven Lake is mostly round and approximately 2 miles across. There are walleye, northern and smallmouth bass in Raven.
